Drawings and Careers

Hey guys, sorry it's been so long. Last week I went to San Fransisco on Thursday and Friday so I could attend Andrew Bird's concert. Which by the way was even more amazing than this video of him. But the trip really threw me off schedule, so I had a ton of homework and, counting the Friday I was gone, I missed two weeks of blogging. Anywho, back to the post.So here's the picture part of the post. This is actually a picture I drew on a paper tablecloth at a restaurant. I have a thing with masks, hidden personalities and depressing drawings all of the sudden, I wonder why... I'm not really sure what I was trying to convey, I mean it was just a doodle, but the writing above it says," Watashi wa dare?" meaning," Who am I?"
And here is my first and hopefully not last finished work in the art of Photoshopping. You see, I really enjoy fixing and altering photos, and I think it would be perfect to do that as a career when I'm older. It's the cutest picture of my dad when he was around six years old, but you couldn't see it in the old photo. It was all cracked and flaky and... I'll just let you see for yourself.
See the difference? I'm really so proud.

I was also going to show you some more pictures, but I couldn't find my notebook, so,
~See ya!~

Finished!

Wow, this is a first! I actually finished a project. And, I love it so much! If you can remember that far back, I started collecting soda can tabs so I could make this awesome belt. It only took me a couple hours to make, and it's not as complicated as it looks, especially when you get the hang of it. This ribbon is also so adorable!
Here is another picture I drew. I mainly took it from a dream that I had about a goldfish that I picked up from its bowl, but it died because I did. Not really sure what that dream is supposed to mean...
And last but not least, Here is some random clothing designs. Those in the corner are white frilly shorts. I really love the look of shorts that kind of poof out. the other is just a dress that I imagined right before I fell asleep a while ago. In case you can't tell, It's kinda inspired by Batman.

Who is the real Sophie?

This is my latest drawing. The girl in front of the mirror is the mask of Sophie, the school's "Bad Girl". she happens to look inside the mirror this special day, and sees what she really is, a frill-loving, girly, non-punk girl. I just thought this was a good subject for my type of drawing.

In other news, here I am, finally progressing on my sewing. Here is my half-embroidered chubby mermaid doll face. She's going to have brown hair with blonde high-lights, a leopard print tail, and a black clam bra. She's a little odd compared to most mermaids...
~Alright, that's it!~

Resolutions and Catching-Up

Okay, so, I definitely have some catching up to do. In the last however many weeks, I went camping, and... that's actually just about it. I haven't really done any arts, but, I am planning on making a new formal wardrobe, and I just started embroidering a face for a chubby mermaid doll I'm making.

All this leads to my first topic, a resolution. I have noticed that I don't really post very often, so I am making a day that I have to post on, probably Friday. I will ,though, post sooner if I finish projects sooner, but just don't expect a post every day.

Now for the Catching-up. I went camping in Yosemite for the very first time! It was beautiful. We hiked up to the lower Yosemite Falls where we climbed the fallen rocks till we were about fifty feet from the falls. You could feel the mist on your face. We also took some fun pictures, which I would like to show you, but Blogger won't upload them, so I'll have to get back to you.
~See ya when It's working!~

Some more Old Illustraions

Alrighty guys, I'll start off with one of my illustrations from a book called The Fledgeling. It is illustrating a part of the story that gave me the inspiration to name this blog Georgie and the Goose Prince.

This is a picture I drew of me wearing my Hello Kitty shirt. I think it was badly translated to say, "You Wear What?" when it was really, "Anata wa nani shoimasu ka?" where it would say, "What are you wearing?" I did this without a mirror. Really surprising for me.This is one of my fashion illustrations. This model's name is Fionna.
And finally, Rachel. Yet another of my fashion illustrations. I think I was in the ballet dancing mood when I drew this.

~ I'll try to get some actual work done tomorrow. See y'all Later!~

My Art Projects Since September

Okay, since my last post in September, I have done a few art projects. This one I made in art class at school. It is a papier mache axe in the shape of a batman sign. I'm really proud I got 19/20 on this.
This mug is also made in art class. On this I got an amazing 20/20 even though it had a crack through it! I made it for my sister, the author of The Dirty Pink Hotel, who named him Fabio. When I first made it, it had two handles and was flawless. But, as you can see by the picture below, he has no handles. The first day after drying, he had a crack through him and one handle was broken. By the second day of drying, he was handle-less, yellow blotched (forgot to rinse my brush before going from yellow to clear on the nose), and cracked. But he still has a great personality!

Here is a shelf I made at home one day. It was designed to display my shutter shades. I made the shelf with a Capri Sun box, some collage paper and a strip from a coloring book that I colored.
Here's the shelf with my shades on it.
This is a vase that I made out of the same coloring book page as the shelf above. I made it out of a bottle and just taped on the strip of coloring page.

And last but not least, I made this hand. It was originally to hold my arm warmers, but it was to inflexible. So now it's just a strange piece of art on my nightstand.

~Alright, that's all I had to catch you up on, See ya!~

My First Day (with this blog)

So, this is my new blog. It's starting off from where my first blog ended. I'm going to talk about the same things: arts 'n' crafts, sewing, knitting, sometimes crocheting and superhero-related things. One well known fact about me is that I just can't subdue my dorky craving for superheros. But. most of the time, I'll blog about my latest artistic feats. My favorite hobby is drawing (when I'm not playing video games. What can I say, I'm still a child!). Some more trivia about me is that I am learning Japanese and German, and I hope to eventually be a professional Photoshop technician.

~That's all for today, I'll get some pictures of my latest projects tomorrow!~
