Bill and Buttons

This is a Girl named Buttons the Great. She is 13 and doesn't want to grow up. She owns the Anti-Adult Asociation, also known as Triple A or AAA. Her sheep is named Shawn, and she and the vice president love to decorate him.
And this is Bill the Lazy Platypus, Spot the Loyal Bug, and Good ol' Fred the TV. And Bill's girlfriend. Notice everything in the picture is named except for her. And she is angrily knitting while he is drinking coke and watching TV.

Feeling... artistic

Yes, I am felling very artistic lately. This "Illuminated Letter" as my teacher calls it, Isn't actually an example though. I just got this back from social studies. I got 10 extra credit points for this.
This is an actual example. I just Wednesday came up with a new way of drawing. This is my version of Eve holding the fruit from the forbidden tree. I wonder where Adam is...
This picture is one of my favorites. I'm really into robots lately. She has just been exposed as a cyborg, and is anxiously awaiting the response of horror.

~Don't be too harsh on her, It's not like she decided to be half robot.~

Earrings and Such

Woah, sorry about how late this post is, I forgot and went camping. So, at my grandma's house, she has miniature silverware and scissors and random pendant things, perfect for earrings.
She let me have two of the scissors and earring wires, so I came home and finally finished up all of my saving-for-a-day-when-I-have-earring-wires projects. I got my bottle cap earrings done, and also had my dad help me make an earring holder. Yay for drill bits and long-forgotten picture frames!

~By the way, the scissors open and close. Aren't small things cute?~

Camping

Yes, I have an explanation for my absence. I didn't do anything last week. That's it. But, today, overcoming my illness, I will post.

I went camping this weekend. We went to a small campsite in Spooner's Cove in Montana de Oro. It definitely wasn't that good of a vacation. We got there late, 5 o' clock, and started a fire. The fire died out in 10 minutes and didn't come back. So we ate our dinner in the trailor. The next day we went on two wonderful hikes. Here's a ton of nature pics of them.

^Morning Glory (This flower only has one petal and sucks up your nose when you sniff it)^

And here is the delicious fruit salad I made.

~It was kinda a short post today, huh?~

Old and New... and a new band member!

Well, you probably don't know what I mean by a "new band member". In fact, I've never even mentioned a band before, so let me explain. My big sister has a desire to make a techno band. It kinda is just a dream, but last night my dad brought home a super totally awesome keyboard that records and layers multiple riffs. If that doesn't make sense, it basically means you can record a melody in one instrument and record another melody with another instrument and play it together. Ya. I know. It's awesome. Me and Andrea already made a song. Yes, so if I am a member of the band (You know how big sisters are, the friends are their group) my stage name will be Ningyou.

Okay, so, old and new.

The first is my favorite. It's my newest drawing of a small bird named Tiney. In case you still don't get it, It has fork legs, thus Tiney. The second is a fairly new drawing of a street performer (Robot), Panda and Hobo. The third is an old picture of two old friends: Turtle and Hare. They are both old and cranky. The last is a very old picture of a lady trying to train an ant, inspired by my Social Studies teacher's constant remarks about how teaching us is like teaching an ant.

Drawings and Careers

Hey guys, sorry it's been so long. Last week I went to San Fransisco on Thursday and Friday so I could attend Andrew Bird's concert. Which by the way was even more amazing than this video of him. But the trip really threw me off schedule, so I had a ton of homework and, counting the Friday I was gone, I missed two weeks of blogging. Anywho, back to the post.So here's the picture part of the post. This is actually a picture I drew on a paper tablecloth at a restaurant. I have a thing with masks, hidden personalities and depressing drawings all of the sudden, I wonder why... I'm not really sure what I was trying to convey, I mean it was just a doodle, but the writing above it says," Watashi wa dare?" meaning," Who am I?"
And here is my first and hopefully not last finished work in the art of Photoshopping. You see, I really enjoy fixing and altering photos, and I think it would be perfect to do that as a career when I'm older. It's the cutest picture of my dad when he was around six years old, but you couldn't see it in the old photo. It was all cracked and flaky and... I'll just let you see for yourself.
See the difference? I'm really so proud.

I was also going to show you some more pictures, but I couldn't find my notebook, so,
~See ya!~

Finished!

Wow, this is a first! I actually finished a project. And, I love it so much! If you can remember that far back, I started collecting soda can tabs so I could make this awesome belt. It only took me a couple hours to make, and it's not as complicated as it looks, especially when you get the hang of it. This ribbon is also so adorable!
Here is another picture I drew. I mainly took it from a dream that I had about a goldfish that I picked up from its bowl, but it died because I did. Not really sure what that dream is supposed to mean...
And last but not least, Here is some random clothing designs. Those in the corner are white frilly shorts. I really love the look of shorts that kind of poof out. the other is just a dress that I imagined right before I fell asleep a while ago. In case you can't tell, It's kinda inspired by Batman.
